Our pets are an important part of our lives, and we all know how difficult it is to say goodbye. We are here to help you through the grieving process in any way we can. Below you will find a variety of helpful resources.
Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center has partnered with Red Oak Counseling to offer those affected by pet loss an empathetic, caring environment to discuss feelings of loss or the anticipated loss of a beloved pet. Each pet loss counseling session is a group format conducted by Red Oak's experienced, licensed professionals who specialize in grief counseling and have a special focus on pet loss and bereavement. The Pet Loss Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at Red Oak's Elm Grove office and the second Tuesday of each month at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialist's Glendale office. Both groups meet from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. If you would like more information on Red Oak or these sessions, follow this link to their website: https://www.redoakcounseling.com/groups-offered/pet-loss-support-groups/
