We don't stop at dogs and cats! Our small animal vets also see rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas, ferrets, reptiles, snakes, and birds of all types! Our large animal vets will work on cows, pigs, goats, and sheep too!
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's complete health care needs:
We highly recommend spaying and neutering pets. We also perform minor to major surgeries here including mass removals, bladder stone surgery, wound repair, foreign body surgery, biopsies, eye enucleation, ear hematoma repair, and amputations. In the event of an orthopedic case we offer referrals to a board-certified surgeon who can perform procedures right here at the clinic.
We use a variety of anesthetic agents to provide an extra margin of safety for all pets, no matter their age or risk level. Our technicians are trained to monitor the patient's vital signs during all anesthetic procedures, using pulse oximetry, ECG, respiratory monitors, and blood pressure.
Radiology, Ultrasonography, & Cardiology Services
Our on-site x-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We provide ultrasound services in-house with the option of having a local ultrasound specialist come in to perform full diagnostic ultrasounds and echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds). We provide electrocardiography services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. For more complicated oral needs we refer to veterinary dentists in Verona, Milwaukee and Highland Park, IL.
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, parasite testing, and more. We also utilize several veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
We offer Home Again microchip identification at our clinic. For more information about microchips, visit Home Again's website!
For your convenience we maintain an extensive inventory of pharmaceuticals, supplements, shampoos, flea and tick control products, and heartworm prevention for your pet. We also offer an online pharmacy to have pet food, preventatives, and medicine delivered right to your home!
Flea & Tick and Parasite Control Programs
We have beautiful landscapes to explore here in Wisconsin, and unfortunately parasites love it here as much as we do. Visit our Flea & Tick page for more information, or ask about your options the next time you bring in your pet.
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and performance.
We are trained to give insight into your pet's baffling behaviors, and can distinguish normal behavior from abnormal behaviors. We can help you problem-solve issues such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, thunderstorm anxiety, and aggression. We also recommend obedience and puppy classes, so please call for class recommendations or if you have behavior related questions.
We are able to groom cats either awake or under anesthesia, if needed. We also offer full grooming services for dogs. Please call the clinic for more information!
